Welcome to Live Music in Vancouver.
This is a space where I hope to showcase great live music in the Vancouver area. This page is an offshoot of a Facebook page I have been running for about 10 years. A little bit of history here ; I used to have a site called livemusicinvancouver.info and ran that for four years before Covid hit. Once the pandemic was upon us there really was no point in continuing as we were all housebound (remember being in your bubble?) for a couple of years. Thankfully that is behind us and hopefully will stay there for a good long while.
I am always amazed at how much good music is out there these days. It probably stems from the fact that everyone has a recording studio in their computer and it's easier than ever to get your sound down. That being said, having the presence to put that out in front of an audience is an entirely different animal and: a good song is a good song, no matter how it is presented.
